Baseball and softball are summer sports. Matches take place from April to October. Our club has the following age groups: ‘BeeBall’ (U9): 6 to 8 years old, ‘Pupillen’ (U12): 9 to 11 years old, ‘Aspiranten’ (U15): 12 to 14 years old, ‘Junioren’ (U21): 15 to 20 years old, ‘Senioren’ softball: 21 and over.
All baseball, softball and BeeBall teams have 1 practice per week and play 1 match per week during the season. The annual membership fee is dependent on your age category. The membership fee is made up of a club fee and a payment to the KNBSB (the Federation). Please sign up using our registration form.

During this period, we practice outside on our field at Kikkerpolder. From January to March, it is simply too cold and wet to play outside. For this reason, we then practice indoors. The exact dates on which we start and end field training depend on the weather conditions and cannot be determined in advance. Usually, field training starts back up at the end of March.
During school holidays, there are no practices. At the end of March all teams start their field training.
Winter training
From November to March, we practice indoors. There is a training break from December to mid-January. Practices take place on Wednesday at 18:00 hr for BeeBall (upper hall) and at 19:00 hr for Pupils/Kids/Minor League (lower hall). During indoor training, please wear a tracksuit or other sports outfit and sneakers. Sneakers must be clean and not have black soles.
Summer training
Beeball practice takes place on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:00 hrs. Pupillen join this training and will continue on until 19:30 hrs. If you would like to know more about our coaches, click here.
Schoolsport
Every year, the Municipal Schoolsport Committee of the city of Leiden offers pupils sport classes at a reduced rate. You can get to know Biënto through Schoolsport too by applying on the website of the city of Leiden. If you like our club, you can join the team you have trained with after your Schoolsport practices have finished.
