Membership – Biënto

Biënto’s club year runs from 1 January to December 31. The membership fee is dependent on the member’s age.

Membership fee

As soon as we have received your membership fee, you will be registered at the KNBSB (Royal Netherlands Baseball and Softball Federation) and be issued a membership number. Once you are registered at the Federation, you will be covered under their liability insurance. Without membership number issued by the Federation, you are ineligible to participate in competitions. The Federation fee depends on your age and is included in your Biënto membership fee.

The membership fee category is determined by the member’s age at the end of the club year (not by what team the member plays in).

* Membership fee includes uniform rental.

Low-income policies of the city of Leiden

for youth & adult members

Everyone should have the opportunity to play sports. Children from low-income families can pay for their sports and cultural activities using the Sleutelpas. Adults may be eligible for support from Volwassenenfonds Sport & Cultuur.

Cancelling your membership

The membership fee is paid annually for the entire club year (1 January – 31 December).

Cancelling your membership may only be done in writing addressed to the Secretary’s Office. The final date for cancelling your membership is 31 October of the year preceding the start of new season.

The Secretary’s Office will confirm your cancellation.

NOTE:

Cancellations reported to your coach will not be considered a valid cancellation.
Cancellations after 31 October will not be considered valid. You will be required to pay the membership fee.

Your membership is automatically renewed annually.
