Together, we create a safe and enjoyable sporting climate for all members. For this reason, the following Club Rules apply at Biënto.
Players
If players are unable to attend a practice or match, they must notify their Team Coordinator. If the absence is reported on the day of the practice or match (for example as a result of illness), the coach needs to be notified too.
All players are responsible for carrying out at least two tasks for the benefit of the club, for example assisting in preparing the field for play, gathering and putting away equipment, umpiring, scoring, manning the bar, etc.
If the Federation imposes a fine on a player, the player is personally liable for paying it.
After the incident, the umpire will at all times include a note on the match form.
The coach will report the incident to the Competition Secretary. The Board also has the option of imposing an administrative measure or fine, independent of the Federation. All activities are reported to the Competition Secretary in accordance with Biënto’s Regulatory Policy.
Coaches
All teams have a coach and a coordinator.
Team coaches are appointed by the General Coordinator.
Coaches have final responsibility over the team and the equipment.
The coach regularly confers with the Competition Secretary, the Board and the team coordinator.
Team coordinators
Team coordinators act and arrange things on behalf of the coach.
They keep an account of the team members’ email addresses and inform the team members.
Cancellations are reported to the team coordinator. The team coordinator then notifies the coach.
Parents / volunteers
Biënto is an association, and as such can only survive with the help of volunteers. For this reason, all members – or parents of underaged members – are obliged to carry out volunteering duties. These include:
- bar shifts
- umpiring
- accommodation maintenance
- preparing the field for play
- participating in committees
Per match, three parents need to volunteer. The parents determine who carries out what duties and when by mutual agreement. Exchanging duties can be arranged by parents independently. In case of exchanged duties, they report this to the team coordinator.
When you – or your child – join our club, we will contact you to discuss your voltuneering preferences and possibilities.
Please review our volunteering vacancies.
